Steph’s Picks for June 18th
There were two very interesting Whistler homes on our Tuesday Tour, both with lots of charm and character.
On our Tuesday Tour there were two interesting Whistler homes:
The first home is located in Bayshores, just south of Creekside. It has great windows, sky lights, vaulted ceilings and an amazing out-door covered deck which is accessible from both the kitchen and living room through 4 French Doors. The master bedroom has a stairway to a fantastic roof top deck with 360 unobstructed views and sunshine. This 2,600 sq.ft. 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom home listed for $1,299,000 is ready to move in. I think it is priced on the high side but you never know how motivated the sellers are until you make an offer.
The second character home we saw is centrally located in Alta Vista and was designed by Bo Helliwell in 1989. Like all of Bo’s designs, they are trend setting, using big timbers and beautiful open space floor plans which focus on bringing the outside in. This home is a sanctuary and has such a wonderful feel with the kitchen, living and dining rooms looking out onto a large private patio and the garden beyond. This 3 bed, 2 bath, 2,900 sq.ft. home listed at $1,049,000 needs some TLC and the cost of the deferred maintenance should be considered when negotiating a purchase price.
Please call me to take a look at these, or any other home you see listed in Whistler. 604 932 7949.
